Getting there

Flights & Trains: We reccommend flying to Toulouse from outside France or getting the train directly to Carcassonne if travelling within France.

Car rental: If you are staying at or near the venue, we reccommend hiring a car as there is no public transport to the venue. We will also help coordinator taxis or shuttles for those arriving at the same time.

Wedding Events: We will provide buses between Carcassonne and the venue for all 3 days of events.

There is no public transport to the venue and if needed, taxis should be booked ahead of time.

where to stay

The wedding will be held at a venue in Plaigne around 15 minutes from the small village of Mirepoix.

We highly reccommend to stay in the fortified medieval town of Carcassonne Old City, which is where we will have the Welcome Drinks and will provide transport from here directly to the venue for the Wedding and Recovery days.

Bus Stop Location

Carcassonne is a truly unique town and Ville fortifiée historique de Carcassonne has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997 and is the one of Frances top attractions to see.

We have provided accommodation options below, and for those travelling with families we have also provided some airbnbs closer to the venue if you prefer.
