When is the wedding?

The wedding will take place over 3 days from the 10-12th September 2026. Starting with welcome drinks on the Thursday, into the wedding on Friday and of course, a recovery day party on the Saturday!

Where is it?

The wedding will take place at Chateau La Commanderie in a small village of Plaigne in the Occitanie region of France. The closest international airport is Toulouse but we reccommend staying in Carcassone or Mirepoix, find our hotel recommendations here.

how do i get there?

We will arrange transport between Carcassonne and the Chateau for all the events. If you are staying in Mirepoix or around, you will need a taxi.

Please RSVP to all events by 11th June.

dress code?

Our dress code is Cocktail / Relaxed Formal but basically we just want you to look and feel your best! Whether that be short or long dress, tie or no tie, feathers, sparkles or all black whatever you feel your hottest and happiest in. We just want you to enjoy the night but please no denim. Ladies the wedding will be outdoors on grass so please keep in mind when choosing footwear.

welcome Drinks

We’re hosting welcome drinks in Carcassonne (venue TBC) from 4-9pm on the Thursday with drinks and some light snacks provided.

Recovery party

A recovery pool party will be held at the Chateau on Saturday from 1pm-10pm at a per head cost of €40 and transport from Carcassonne for €20. Family and children who have travelled with you are invited to join.

Buddy-moon

For those interested in extending your trip, we’ll be heading to the town of Bergur in Costa Brava from Monday 14th, about a 3hr drive from Mirepoix on the Spanish Coast.

This is self-organised but we’ll put together a group chat for organising catamaran, dinners and beach days.

If you have any food allergies or preferences, please indicate to us when filling out the RSVP.

Are children welcome?

Our welcome drinks and wedding day will be a child-free event but children are more than welcome to attend the recovery day party if you wish. Futher details around babysitting options will be provided: https://yoopies.fr/baby-sitter/carcassonne.

Hair & Make up

If you wish to get your HMU done in Carcassonne we can provie details at a later date.
